Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction
With Brits still being advised against all non-essential overseas travel and many airlines virtually grounded the chances of a holiday abroad this summer are slim.
But several European countries have begun easing lockdown restrictions as they gear up for the return of tourists. However the big drawback for anyone still hoping for a summer getaway is that from June 8 all arrivals at UK airports - including returning holidaymakers - must self-isolate for 14 days or face a £1,000 fine.
Arrivals must also provide contact and accommodation details, with the authorities promising checks will be carried out. They will also be strongly advised to download and use the NHS contact tracing app.
