Big Brother will be returning to our screens. The show's return was revealed in epic fashion during the ad break of the dramatic Love Island final last night.
Big Brother was originally screened on Channel 4 and later moved to Channel 5, who axed the show in 2018 after 18 years of the legendary reality series.
But now ITV bosses have officially confirmed they've secured a deal to bring the show back.The new series has been dubbed the "Big Brother for the Love Island generation" as producers hope to draw in a younger audience.
Paul Mortimer, director of reality commissioning & acquisitions and controller for ITV2, ITVBe and CITV, said: “This refreshed, contemporary new series of Big Brother will contain all the familiar format points that kept viewers engaged and entertained the first time round, but with a brand new look and some additional twists that speak to today’s audience. "We’re beyond excited to bring this iconic series to ITV2 and ITVX where it should especially engage with our younger viewers.” Here's everything we know so far about Big Brother's return.
