A wedding DJ is leading a vigilante group that is carrying out "covert patrols" of the Channel to try to ward off migrant vessels trying to reach the UK.

Condemned by the Home Office, Jeremy Davis said he's been joined by about 20 others, including former soldiers, using a speedboat and night vision goggles for anti-migrant "missions".

Mr Davis, from Wolverhampton, claims his group has encountered migrant boats during two "patrols" off Dover, but were unable to persuade them to turn back after pulling up alongside them.

His Twitter account features boasts about the the "missions" and disparaging comments about Muslims and migrants trying to make the crossing from France.
