Women often go through the surgery themselves if their partner refuses to. However, one husband who underwent a vasectomy says that mums have gone through enough with pregnancy and childbirth.
He said: “Why don’t we boys make the sacrifice?” Emmanuel “Eman” Cortez, 29, and his wife, Marifel, 27, discovered that she had fallen pregnant unexpectedly for the third time last year, they decided to discuss permanent contraception.
