The 2020 Virtual Grand National captured the interest of the nation on Saturday in place of the usual Aintree meeting - using state of the art CGI technology.
The ongoing coronavirus pandemic made the meeting unsafe and was subsequently cancelled, but organisers were hoping to help appease fans by showing a computer generated equivalent.
The usual race will come after a Legends race including winners from all the way back in 1839, with 2018 and 2019 winner Tiger Roll taking part in both.
The Betting and Gaming Council allowed a maximum bet of £10 to win per horse, or £10 each way, for what will be a new take on the historic race.
