Virgin Atlantic has announced when it plans to restart its passenger flights. The company has said it aims to begin operations from July 20 but only from London Heathrow to start.
Flights will initially resume to Orlando, Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York and Los Angeles with more destinations expected to be reintroduce in August, with details to be confirmed in the next two weeks.
There will be enhanced hygiene and safety measures in place which include deploying powerful disinfectant on board "ensuring no surface is left untouched" and passengers will be required to wear masks when social distancing is not possible.
