dailystar.co.ukLiverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has suffered an injury after a horror tackle from Jordan Pickford.The Everton goalkeeper escaped what appeared to be a certain red card as he flew into Van Dijk.The Dutchman was forced off injured on the back of the tackle, just 10 minutes into the clash at Goodison Park.Pickford was only saved by the offside flag, otherwise the decision would have been penalty - and almost certainly further action.Van Dijk marginally timed his run incorrectly, but Pickford came flying out of his net feet first.The contact was heavy and awkward and Van Dijk was unable to continue in the match.It appeared to be a knee injury for Van Dijk, which will raise major concerns for Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool staff.The defender.
