Jamie Carragher has urged Liverpool to sign Dayot Upamecano in January to help fill the giant void left by Virgil van Dijk.
The Dutchman is set to miss most of the season after sustaining a nasty anterior cruciate ligament injury against Everton. Jordan Pickford's reckless challenge forced the defender off the pitch and he will now need to undergo knee surgery.
