The Venice Film Festival has confirmed that Denis Villeneuve’s Dune will make its world premiere out of competition at the 78th edition in September.
Deadline reported in May that the film was expected. From Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures, Dune is the highly anticipated big-screen adaptation of Frank Herbert’s seminal science fiction bestseller of the same name.
The film will be shown on Friday 3 September 2021, in the Sala Grande.
