Princess Charlotte uses a different name at her school to appear more 'normal'

Despite their Royal status, a source has claimed that the children are treated just like any other student once they step through the school gates.This is a sentiment fully backed by Kate and William, who are eager for their children to have as 'normal' a childhood as possible.
As a result, Charlotte goes by a different name at school. Her full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, and her official title is Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
Both of these are quite a mouthful, and it's unlikely that her classmates or teachers would use them. So, she follows the tradition of her older brother and other family members by using her parents' title as her surname.
