Offside calls were repeatedly brought into the limelight with goals being disallowed for a toe or an armpit being slightly offside upon review.
In a bid to combat this, the Premier League is instructing the VAR to use thicker lines while judging narrow offside calls next season.
The use of thicker lines by the video assistant referee will hand attackers a greater margin for error, putting an end to misjudgements.
