Ulrika Jonsson says divorces were 'emotionally mangling' and they 'tortured her soul'

Ulrika Jonsson has opened up about her "emotionally damaging" divorces – something that comes after the UK brought in the new no-fault divorce bill last week.The stunning 54-year-old TV personality, who has appeared on Celebs Go Dating, has taken a look back at her three divorces as the new bill came to light.For those unaware, the no-fault divorce bill will see 'fault' removed, and instead, a couple, or just one individual, could show the marriage is broken.One of the parties in the marriage can now prove the marriage has fallen apart by simply stating they are unhappy.Reflecting on her past relationships and divorces, that took place prior to the introduction of the new bill, Ulrika has revealed that the process of divorce left her "emotionally mangled".In her column for The Sun Ulrika said: "The run-up to the decisions [to get divorced] had been horrendous — emotionally mangling me, torturing my soul and sharply altering my view of myself and the world."She then added: "Having to come up with reasons why my husband had behaved 'unreasonably' was unreasonable in itself."Speaking of her first divorce she revealed the "ridiculous" reasons for the split, claiming that she even included her ex-partner's toothpaste-squeezing habits.Reflecting on it all she said: "Fast forward some 13 years later to my last divorce and the reasons were required to be a little weightier.

And it felt awful."It was emotional and damaging to have to retrace the steps of why things went wrong."Ulrika has been hitched on three separate occasions – with each of them ending in divorce.Her first husband was John Turnbull – the father of her son Cameron.She then got wed to Lance Gerrard-Wright, who she shares daughter Martha with.And her third hubby.
