Brits have been warned to brace themselves for more miserable weather, with three weeks' worth of rain forecast to fall in just two days.
The worst of the drenching is predicted for later this afternoon, with two Met Office yellow warnings for rain in place today and tomorrow.
Heavy rain is set to fall across much of Wales for the next 48 hours, while vast swathes of northwest England are also predicted to suffer from the deluge.
The Environment Agency has issued 129 flooding warnings, mostly across southern England and parts of the Midlands. Almost four inches of rain are forecast for the next two days — around three weeks' average rainfall.
