Much of Britain is in for "dull and damp" weather over the next few days with 50mm of rain to fall in parts as Tropical Storm Edouard moves in.
The cyclone continues to travel through the Atlantic Ocean and is expected to reach the UK by Thursday - only adding to the deluge of downpours for Brits.
Met Office forecaster Aidan McGivern said the worst of the weather will be seen in Wales before the weekend with "50mm plus in some of the more exposed spots". "Temperatures once again held back because of the cloud and outbreaks of rain," he continued.
National Resources Wales has placed two flood alerts in place, as a result. BBC meteorologist Tomascz Schafernaker agreed Britain is going to be left particularly "soggy" with outbreaks of rain
