Britain is set for its fifth miserable Monday in a row with 65mph gales and soakings - as we're battered by three storms in a row.

Tomorrow has been dubbed “Groundhog Monday” to start a week of stormy weather. And it will also be stormy on Wednesday and Friday too, with no end for the misery.

A Met Office forecaster said: “Wet and windy weather spreads on Monday, Wednesday brings a risk of gales, and spells of wet and windy weather continue.” The RAC say flood breakdowns have doubled year-on-year and commuters should expect delays tomorrow afternoon because of the wet weather.
