TV host Kate, 53, has had an extremely tough time of late as her husband Derek Draper, 52, was hospitalised in March after contracting coronavirus and was later put into an induced coma which lasted 13 weeks.
Her husband woke up from his coma last week, but Kate has explained that the father of her kids still has a long road to recovery.
And updating her fans and supporters on Derek's status, the mother-of-two told Ben Shephard during Tuesday's instalment of the morning show that after work she will be dashing off to see her sick other half.
