World Cup every two years with a scathing statement.Earlier this month, FIFA started a feasibility study into the practicalities of hosting a World Cup every two years instead of every four.The study was led by former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, now FIFA's Chief of Global Football Development, with 160 of FIFA's 210 nations backing the proposal.This means UEFA's Euros would be sandwiched in between the World Cup every four years, to Aleksander Ceferin's annoyance.And UEFA have now released a public statement backing Ceferin's stance on the proposal.UEFA released a list of concerns about the proposal that featured: the calendar, formats and access of the final and preliminary competitions, the impact on players’ physical and mental.
