In September 2016, she began appearing as a panellist on Loose Women and in November of the same year she presented the I'm a Celebrity spin-off series I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp.

Uber slammed for hiking fares as New Yorkers fled crazed subway shooter

Frightened passengers said they noticed a surge in the cost of fares in the wake of the attack which took place in Brooklyn's Sunset Park during rush hour on Tuesday ( April 12).Video footage showed clustered commuters climbing over one another in a bid to escape the masked gunman who had injured more than 20 people.

Some commuters realised that the prices of rideshare companies such as Uber and Lyft had skyrocketed due to an increase in demand, with prices as high as $70 to leave the area, reports Engadget.Uber spokesperson Josh Gold told the publication: “Our hearts go out to the victims of this morning’s terrible shooting in Sunset Park."Following the incident, Uber disabled surge pricing in the vicinity and capped pricing citywide."Lyft also issued a response and said it has "suspended prime-time pricing for riders in the area".According to the publication, neither company disclosed how long the prices would be suspended for.

In response to the fare increases, one Twitter user said: "We need better options than @Uber and @Lyft are giving New York. F**k these prices while we’ve been going through it with safety on the trains." While another said: "It’s absolutely disgusting to see Uber, surging prices during an attack in Brooklyn, New York. "A time that a company that is worth billions should be giving rides for free, while Americans are traumatised and trying to get home after a mass shooting #Uber." Lyft told the Daily Star: "Lyft’s prime time pricing remains suspended for riders in New York City’s five boroughs.
