Twenty more people have died at Greater Manchester's hospitals having contracted coronavirus. The latest NHS data reveals that at least 98 people have lost their lives to the disease at facilities across the region.

Further deaths have been confirmed at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester University Foundation Trust, Pennine Actue Hospitals NHS Trust, Salford Royal and Tameside General Hospital today (Tuesday, March 31).

The death toll in Britain has risen by nearly 400 in 24 hours - to 1,808. Office for National Statistics (ONS) data released this morning revealed the true number of UK deaths from Covid-19 is higher than published in daily NHS trust reports.
