Residents threw a lockdown party in their street to honour a special lady’s 100th birthday.Neighbours in Troon’s Wallacefield Road came together for a socially-distanced bash with a difference.Anna Leith’s century was marked in style with the music of a piper and the serenading of friends and family.Partygoers of all ages joined forces to send their best wishes during the emotional celebration.Anna, the youngest of eight children, was born in the town’s Welbeck Crescent and attended Troon Primary.She trained as a hairdresser in Morgenthalers Troon and married sweetheart Bill in Portland Church in 1942.The couple enjoyed 73 years of happily married life before Bill sadly passed away in 2016, aged 97.During the war years, Anna was recruited
