Pupils at a Trafford school were left devastated after a number of classroom computers were stolen during a break-in. During the burglary at St Alphonsus Primary School on Hamilton Street, Stretford, thieves were said to have made off with school cash and more than 20 laptops and computer devices.
The equipment was being used by students in class and at home which school head teacher Tina Birds said had crucial to their learning.
