Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho isn’t happy with demands from supporters over Troy Parrott. The Republic of Ireland Parrott has seen only six minutes of Premier League action since Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino in December despite his consistent form with the under-18s.
The 18-year-old was introduced with just a minute remaining as Spurs slipped to a 3-2 defeat at home to Wolves on Sunday, with fans left questioning his lack of first-team opportunities.
Mourinho has now lashed out at claims Parrott should be playing more often by suggesting fans barely know who the forward is. "This is a world where lots of people, they don't even know if Troy has long hair or short hair," Mourinho said. "Or is blonde or is dark.
