Tommy Leuluai's illustrious career looks set to continue into 2022 with the veteran halfback likely to play on for Wigan Warriors next year.
Rugby League Live understands the Warriors captain has made the decision to extend his career and play a twelfth season in cherry and white.
Leuluai, 36, was appointed as the Warriors captain following the retirement of Sean O'Loughlin and will now continue in the role under the next head coach that is selected to replace Adrian Lam.
That man is expected to be Matt Peet, the current assistant coach, though the Warriors say they have yet to conclude their selection process.
