Three homes evacuated after man found dead from 'hazardous substances'

Three households have had to be evacuated after a man was found dead in his home with a 'hazardous substance'. The man, in his 40s, was declared dead upon arrival of emergency services, Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed.

Officers believe the hazardous substance is the cause of death. The road where he lived in Cullompton, Devon, was closed and three nearby houses had to be evacuated.

Four people were given emergency accommodation. The man's death is not being treated as suspicious and his family have been informed.
