A drama student was locked up for 10 years today for killing a pensioner he helped home from the pub. Rhys Reynolds, 20, met 72-year-old Tony McCorry in his local in Boldmere, West Midands, last December.

A female friend took a taxi to the property after tracing the location through Reynolds’s Snapchat app and dialled 99. A post-mortem examination found injuries to Mr McCorry's throat and fractures to his ribs and sternum.
