SCRUBS has had three episodes featuring cast members in blackface removed from streaming service Hulu. The medical comedy ran from 2001 until 2010 and was a huge hit, but in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests, a number of shows have been re-evaluating their content for racial sensitivity.

Following the announcement that episodes of “30 Rock” featuring white characters in blackface have been pulled from Hulu and Amazon Prime Video, another NBC sitcom will be plucking similarly problematic episodes from streaming services.

Scrubs is the latest series to divest itself of racially insensitive episodes. Deadline reports that Hulu has removed three episodes from its site which feature characters in blackface. The episodes in question are titled "My Fifteen Seconds" from Season 3 and "My Jiggly Ball" and "My Chopped Liver" from Season 5.
