Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has been making all the right noises in regards to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's future.
The Old Trafford chief has claimed that he is fully behind the under-fire Norwegian, pointing to the progress being made in all areas of the club.But following their shock Champions League exit at the hands of RB Leipzig, vultures are once again beginning to circle.For the second straight season, Solskjaer's side will have to settle for Europa League football in the new year.Woodward has always claimed that much of their work will be done in summer windows, but with a desperate fight for the top-four looking likely, he may have to accelerate plans.
