David Moyes says Sir Alex Ferguson has been in touch to praise his West Ham side ahead of them taking on Manchester United on Saturday.
Former Old Trafford boss Moyes has led his side to fifth place in the Premier League this season, and they have one more point that his old club ahead of their visit to the London Stadium in front of 2,000 fans on Saturday evening.
It was Moyes who was infamously chosen as Ferguson's successor when the United legend left the club after 27 trophy-laden years in charge in 2013, only to fail to last until the end of the 2013/14 season.
