Manchester United legends Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes clashed as they debated the Paul Pogba problem which has hit their former club.
Pogba’s controversial agent Mino Raiola declared “it’s over” for his client at the club in an interview with Tuttosport on the eve of their Champions League clash with RB Leizpig.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskajer subsequently dropped Pogba to the bench for the must-not-lose game. Debating the issue on BT Sport before kick-off, Ferdinand slammed Solskjaer and Ed Woodward for allowing Raiola to continue publicly criticising the club.
But Scholes disagreed, claiming the club had no need to respond to Raiola and insisting the incident would have no impact on United’s preparations for the game in Germany.
