Thomas Tuchel has already identified a trio of summer transfer targets to improve his squad after Chelsea ended the winter window without any new arrivals.Having spent heavily last summer with a cool £97.5m deal for Romelu Lukaku, Roman Abramovich was unwilling to loosen the purse strings in January. The Blues' no.1 target was Emerson, a player already on their books, but a compensation fee of £3.3m was rejected by Lyon and the player will now see out the rest of the season at the Groupama Stadium.Though Chelsea did manage to get one Brazilian loanee back through the door, Kenedy has returned prematurely from Flamengo, giving competition for places at left wing-back.Kenedy will now compete with Marcos Alonso for a starting berth after Tuchel was unable to recall compatriot Emerson. The Spaniard has filled in for first choice left-back Ben Chilwell, since the England international's season-ending injury against Juventus, but performances have been below par.The Blues have won just one of their last five Premier League matches, slipping to third in the table and are 10 points behind leaders Manchester City, who also have a game in hand.HAVE YOUR SAY!
