it’s not your typical floral, puff-sleeve summer dress - not one I’d expect to be stopped in the street about, any way. With three-quarter length sleeves, a long skirt and a square neckline, it’s the sartorial antidote to the bold, printed and spaghetti strapped dresses that slink up and down the high street, but that seems to be its appeal.
It’s also black (but does come in white) which is traditionally seen as the killjoy option for hot weather. At £210 it’s definitely on the pricey end of the high street summer dress spectrum, but it does give you a lot of bang for its buck, and isn’t a flash-in-the-pan number - I will wear it for years to come.
