A third case of coronavirus has been confirmed in Stockport. It came as a second case was confirmed in neighbouring Tameside.
As of 3pm on Thursday (March 12), the number of confirmed cases in Greater Manchester stood at 26. The third case of COVID-19 in Stockport was confirmed by the local authority today.
Stockport Council said the patient was receiving the relevant care and treatment in line with Public Health England guidance.
