Ibrox academy boss Craig Mulholland has revealed Rangers are pushing hard for a Colts team in the SPFL. He insists the move would be "huge" for the club's youth players and Scottish football at large.
The practice has been implemented abroad, with clubs such as Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid fielding B teams in their respective nations' lower leagues.
