Partick Thistle has said it will back Rangers ' stance and vote for an independent investigation into the SPFL while warning that unless a probe comes to pass, Scottish football may "never fully recover".
The Jags were relegated from the Championship despite being just two points adrift at the bottom - and with a game in hand over Queen of the South - due to the average points calculation used to bring the season to a close.
They released a scathing statement at the weekend claiming the club had been "forgotten, ignored and patronised". And now Thistle have confirmed their intentions for tomorrow's vote and claimed that a failure to shine a light on the league's processes would leave the game "fatally wounded".
