Just when you thought reconstruction was out they pull it back in. Talks over expanding the top flight or even the entire SPFL appeared to have failed when six Premiership clubs indicated they would vote against any proposal.
Hearts chairman Ann Budge and Hamilton's Les Gray had been tasked with leading a reconstruction task force but it appeared the idea was dead in the water.
Now though Budge has been given the green light to present her plans for a 14-team top flight to her fellow Premiership clubs at an SPFL board meeting on Monday.The plan is not expected to garner enough support, as the Tynecastle supremo fights to stop her side getting relegated.
