Emilia Wickstead dress, Flora, 26, had her bridal moment in a classically beautiful traditional wedding gown for her less restricted celebrations on Friday.
She worked with leading society bridal designer Philipa Lepley to create a couture dress consisting of a simple, strapless ivory satin gown with a delicate tulle overdress with long, slim sleeves for a demure, church-appropriate effect.
The dress was embroidered with trails of understated florals which were echoed in the coordinating veil. The dress’s decorative element matched impeccably with the scrolling floral motif of the Ogilvy tiara which has been worn many times by Flora’s grandmother, Princess Alexandra, since it was created using pearl and diamond hair ornaments ahead of her.
