The Game Awards has been confirmed to return later this year

FromSoftware have announced that all online services for Dark Souls PC games will be unavailable for the foreseeable future due to “technical difficulties”.Earlier this year, it was announced that all PvP servers for the entire series had been deactivated following a Remote Code Execution (RCE) hack, which essentially allows the potential attacker to execute arbitrary code on a remote device, meaning they can take control of a player’s PC.Now, it’s been announced that Dark Souls’ online services will once again be taken down while the company extends the fix to work with their upcoming title Elden Ring.Writing on Twitter, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware said they were “aware of the technical difficulties players have experienced with the Dark Souls suite of games on PC.”#DarkSouls pic.twitter.com/ZRhX9OcvQe— Dark Souls (@DarkSoulsGame) February 9, 2022“We want to thank the entire Dark Souls community and the players who have reached out to us directly to voice their concerns and offer solutions. Nintendo has just released a brand-new Kirby game, Kirby Fighters 2, which is available for the Nintendo Switch now.Kirby Fighters 2 is the sequel to 2014’s digital-only game, Kirby Fighters Deluxe, which itself was an upgraded and standalone version of the ‘Kirby Fighters’ mini-game from Kirby: Triple Deluxe.The new game is a 2D fighting game with some platforming elements. One More Level has confirmed that its upcoming cyberpunk hack-and-slash game Ghostrunner will also be released on Nintendo Switch.The developer and All In! Super Mario 3D All-Stars has made its mark in the UK gaming charts after becoming the third biggest game launch of the year.According to a report from Gamesindustry.biz, the game is resting third on the UK chart behind The Last Of Us Part II and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Its sales have also managed to make it the number one selling game of the week ending September 19, knocking Marvel’s Avengers out of the position.In terms of Nintendo figures, Super Mario 3D All-Stars has also become the fifth fastest-selling Switch title, beaten only by Pokémon Sword & Shield, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Super Mario Odyssey.
