THE Capture made its highly anticipated return over the weekend for a second helping - but fans were left with unhappy with the new series.
The BBC crime drama, which sees young DCI Rachel Carey (played by Holliday Grainger) take on the world of digital intelligence and deepfake technology, returned on Sunday night.
In the first series viewers were shown they can't always believe what they see as former Special Forces member Shaun Emery is accused of murdering his barrister.
Shaun is charged with the barrister's manslaughter as CCTV evidence appears to put him in the frame. However, DCI Carey quickly uncovers a complex conspiracy and starts to question whether the CCTV evidence is real or fake - and if Shaun was framed.
