Rapid tests will be taken every 24 hours by those living with virus sufferers but who have no symptoms – and as long as they are negative they can go about their normal business.
Some 40,000 volunteers are being recruited for a trial starting next Sunday. The news came as revellers quenching their thirst for freedom supped 20 million pints – sparking fears of a beer shortage.
