Manchester United for making what he has called an "absurd" decision relating to Ralf Rangnick's appointment.Rangnick arrived at Old Trafford in December after being announced as the club's interim manager for the remainder of the season following the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The search for a new permanent boss has been delayed until the end of the current campaign, at which point Rangnick will assist as part of his new role as a club advisor. However, the decision to bring in an interim manager on a temporary basis in the first place has left Sheringham confused.Speaking to Genting Casino, Sheringham explains: “In the main, when we're talking about Man United, I think the real problem goes back to Rangnick coming in, another interim manager, it's just absurd for me.“United had an interim manager in Michael Carrick, they let him go and appointed another, it just brings uncertainty to a group of footballers that should be playing at their highest level.“Rangnick is obviously going to chop and change with who he likes and who he doesn't like.“A footballer's mentality, if you are left out for three or four games is, ‘I really want to get back in the team'.Do you agree with Teddy Sheringham's comments?

He'll be gone before I go, so I'll wait till the next manager comes in.’“It's another season lost when you have that sort of vibe, you only need to chop and change and rotate the team a few times and you've got a lot of unhappy players.“I think the actual problem is coming from the top.
