A teacher has cheered up home schooling parents after creating his own Ofsted report – and he gave himself a rating of Requires Improvement.
Mathematician Andrew Jeffrey mocked up his own Ofsted report for the ‘Jeffrey Home School’ based on the kitchen table, near Brighton.
Posting the report on Twitter he said: “Despite rumours they were on furlough, we just had an unannounced visit from @Ofstednews. “It didn’t go as badly as we feared.
Here’s the summary report.” The Jeffrey Home School received a ‘requires improvement’ rating in all categories including leadership and management, the safety of pupils, the quality of teaching and the achievement of pupils.
