Taylor Swift was so bummed that all her big summer plans didn't pan out that she went into the studio to work out her emotions.

And, as it turns out, she recorded a whole new album, Folklore, which will drop at midnight tonight (July 23)."Most of the things I had planned this summer didn’t end up happening, but there is something I hadn’t planned on that DID happen," she wrote on Instagram, announcing the surprise release with a series of images of a fog-enshrouded forest. "And that thing is my 8th studio album, folklore.

Surprise Tonight at midnight I’ll be releasing my entire brand new album of songs I’ve poured all of my whims, dreams, fears, and musings into.
