Taylor Swift is here to make 2020 a little bit better with her new album Folklore, which was announced just one day before its release.
Folklore arrived on Friday (July 24) at midnight along with a whopping sixteen tracks. "Most of the things I had planned this summer didn’t end up happening, but there is something I hadn’t planned on that DID happen," Swift previously wrote on Instagram. "And that thing is my 8th studio album, folklore." Swift promised fans that she "poured all of my whims, dreams, fears, and musings" into this new record.
She also named her collaborators: "I wrote and recorded this music in isolation but got to collaborate with some musical heroes of mine; @aarondessner (who has co-written or produced 11 of the 16 songs),
