Tattooist 'empathises' with man left furious over wolf tattoo that 'looks like puppy'

A tattooist accused of 'botching' a customer's wolf inking claims it was the result of "communication issues" and he hasn't been able to finish it due to lockdown and illness.

Matt Watts, of The Black Sails Tattoo Studio, in Hull, Yorkshire, admits he "empathises" with disgruntled Dan Austin who claims his wolf tattoo has "ruined" his leg.

The 29-year-old painter and decorator described the faded work as looking more like a "generic cat" or "Alsatian puppy", and is demanding the studio pay for laser treatment, reports  Hull Live.

However, Matt - who has run the studio for eight years - said he has always intended on finishing the work, and is baffled by Dan's complaints because he "responded positively" after the initial session on
