Super Furry Animals have shared their first ever recorded song that features vocals from actor Rhys Ifans.The song – ‘Of No Fixed Identity – has remained in the band’s archives for almost 30 years but is now available on Bandcamp for a limited time.Before Gruff Rhys took over vocals, Ifans fronted the Welsh band. Ezra Furman has shared a new song – her first for the year – titled ‘Point Me Toward the Real’. The track was produced by John Congleton, and features horn arrangements by Nate Walcott of Bright Eyes along with backing vocals from Shannon Lay and Debbie Neigher.It’s a slow-burning ballad that tells a story about the narrator’s first night after being released from a psychiatric facility.

LCD Soundsystem appear to be teasing something after logos of the band’s record label, DFA Records, were spotted in London along with slogans reading “You are here”.The lightning bolt logo belongs to DFA, the label co-founded by LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy, and was the same image (and accompanying phrase) that was used to provide hints about the band’s Brooklyn Steel shows in NYC last year.
