British activewear brand Sweaty Betty have made a huge step towards diversifying their reach as they’ve announced the launch of a hijab within their latest fitness collection.
Launched this week, their technical Hijab is designed for training and has undergone wearer trials to ensure it is breathable and lightweight to wear.
Sweaty Betty chief product officer Jemma Cassidy said: “We hope that this will facilitate an underrepresented group of women to compete at their optimal level of performance." She continues: "No matter your size, age, skin colour or religion, we want to empower every woman to lead a healthy lifestyle.” Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter.
