Some of the UK’s biggest supermarkets have issued an urgent warning to customers about ice cream, chocolate and meat being recalled for safety reasons.
Tesco, Asda, Marks and Spencer, Morrisons and Waitrose have all released notices after the Food Standards Agency (FSA) raised a warning.
The fresh warning details what items are being recalled and why. Many of the products contain wheat or soya that are not listed on the packaging, while some other items are being recalled as they have not been labelled correctly or may contain plastic particles.Shoppers who have purchased any of these items can return them to the supermarket in exchange for a full refund, either with or without a receipt.
