The rare phenomenon is seen appearing in the bright clear sky over the prefecture-level city. Viewers commented on Weibo, China's equivalent to Twitter, as they shared pictures of the sun halo they have seen while enjoying their week-long national holiday.
The so-called Golden Week Labour holiday kicked off on Friday as the first public holiday since the country lifted coronavirus lockdown.
