Strictly Come Dancing's Nicola Adams got back from Greece just hours before the new quarantine rules came into play. The Olympic Gold medallist, 37, was among many holidaymakers making a beeline for the UK following the announcement of the new rules.

Any Brits on their way home from Greece from Wednesday onwards will have to self-isolate for 14 days. The TV sensation had been enjoying a romantic break with her girlfriend Ella Baig in Mykonos ahead of her Strictly stint.

Nicola will make history on Strictly as she will be in the show's first ever same-sex couple to compete on the dance floor. As it turned out, the star told bosses it's the only way she would sign up.
