Strictly Come Dancing recruit Nicola Adams will be ditching dresses on the show, reports say. The Olympic boxing champ is said to have asked BBC bosses if she can instead dance in trouser suits because she feels more comfortable in them.

Nicola's already made headlines after it was announced that she would be one half of Strictly's first ever competing same-sex couple.

This means she will be dancing with another woman, professional Katya Jones reportedly already throwing her name into the ring.

Last year saw pros Johannes Radebe and Graziano di Prima perform a routine together, while Dancing on Ice welcomed their own same-sex couple in the shape of Ian "H" Watkins and Matt Evers.
